The deck revolves around Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER, using a constant stream of creature sacrifices to trigger his life drain ability, accelerating toward his transformation into One-Winged Angel and the game-winning emblem that turns every creature death into a repeating drain effect. The deck floods the board with cheap, recursive, and self-replacing creatures, then funnels them through sacrifice outlets like altars and free sacrifice engines to maximize death triggers from drain enchantments like Bastion of Remembrance, The Meathook Massacre, and redundant blood artist effects. With The Masamune equipped to Sephiroth, every creature death that would trigger his emblem does so twice, creating an exponential drain engine that rapidly depletes all opponents' life totals simultaneously.
