Obeka is a voltron-style carrier for an upkeep-trigger engine. The deck suits up the commander with evasion, double strike and protection so its combat damage turns into a pile of extra upkeep steps, and every upkeep trigger on the board fires again in each one. Courts, suspend cards, storage lands, card-advantage enchantments and token makers all scale with how hard Obeka connects, and extra combat effects let it hit again after the new upkeeps resolve. How it wins: Obeka's extra upkeeps multiply drain and damage triggers from the Courts, Creeping Bloodsucker and Twilight Prophet until opponents die, or let Mechanized Production copy an artifact up to eight in a single turn for an alternate win. Key roles: - Making Obeka connect: Equipment gives evasion, double strike and raw power so the commander deals as much combat damage as possible, which means more extra upkeeps. Menace stacks with unblockability, flying and trample. (Leyline Axe, Psychic Paper, Wrecking Ball Arm) - Damage and drain upkeeps: Monarch Courts and life-loss permanents punish opponents in every upkeep, turning a single hit into a lethal burst of drain, burn and knight tokens. (Court of Ambition, Court of Embereth, Creeping Bloodsucker) - Value and free-spell upkeeps: Repeated upkeep triggers draw cards, exile cards to cast, and run time and night counters forward, so suspended spells and As Foretold go off at once and Doom's Time Platform keeps recycling spells. (Plargg and Nassari, As Foretold, Doom's Time Platform) - Artifact copy win: Mechanized Production, Court of Vantress and Replicating Ring stack up identical artifacts across multiple upkeeps, with Strionic Resonator doubling key triggers. Mechanized Production paired with Obeka is the alternate win. (Mechanized Production, Court of Vantress, Strionic Resonator) - Extra combats and copies: Untaps, additional combat phases and creature copies give Obeka or its clone more swings, and more chances to trigger, after the bonus upkeeps resolve. (Karlach, Fury of Avernus, Seize the Day, Gogo, Mysterious Mime) - Protecting the engine: Hexproof and ward equipment, counterspells and sweepers keep Obeka alive and the board clear for attacks. Dalakos, Crafter of Wonders gives equipped creatures haste and flying. (Champion's Helm, Swan Song, Dalakos, Crafter of Wonders)
