Auntie Ool, Cursewretch sits at the center of a -1/-1 counter engine that rewards you for spreading counters across the battlefield: you draw cards whenever counters land on your own creatures and drain opponents whenever counters hit theirs. The deck floods the board with counters through mass distribution effects, wither creatures, and proliferate, generating card advantage, Hapatra's snake tokens, and Flourishing Defenses elf tokens as byproducts while Kulrath Knight locks down opponents' counter-laden creatures. The Scorpion God provides redundant card draw and a repeatable counter source, and the deck converts the inevitable creature deaths into further value through theft effects and recursive threats to grind out a win through overwhelming tempo and resource advantage.
