The deck leverages cost reducers and a suite of Lessons alongside token-generating spells like Chatterstorm and Empty the Warrens to flood the board, while payoffs that trigger on each spell cast — such as Thousand-Year Storm and Secrets of the Dead — snowball the engine into overwhelming advantage. The primary win conditions are accumulating a massive board of tokens through storm-count spells and closing out with Grapeshot or sheer creature pressure backed by the relentless spell recursion Iroh provides.
