Kuja, Genome Sorcerer
Kuja, Genome Sorcerer Commander Deck
Kuja builds a board of Wizards that each ping every opponent whenever a noncreature spell is cast, then floods the turn with cheap instants, sorceries, rituals and cantrips so each spell becomes a burst of damage to the whole table. Kuja makes a 0/1 pinger Wizard token every end step and transforms once four Wizards are out, after which every Wizard's damage is doubled. That doubling stacks with trigger-doubling and damage-boosting effects, turning each spell into a burst of damage to every opponent. How it wins: It chains many noncreature spells in one turn with a wide, amplified Wizard board until the repeated each-opponent pings drain the whole table, with Grapeshot storm, Bolas's Citadel and burn finishing it off. Key roles: - Pinger Wizard army: Creatures, tokens and equipment that deal damage to each opponent whenever a noncreature spell is cast, and that also count toward the four Wizards that transform Kuja (Black Waltz No. 3, Mysidian Elder, Black Mage's Rod). - Damage amplifiers: These multiply every ping. Trance Kuja doubles Wizard damage, one card makes Wizard triggers fire twice, one adds 1 to noncombat damage, and one doubles damage from a chosen creature type. Together they turn 1-damage triggers into lethal volleys (Harmonic Prodigy, Tomik, Izzet Sparkmage, Collective Inferno). - Spell-chain fuel: Rituals, cost reducers and mana that refunds itself on instants and sorceries let several cheap spells resolve in one turn. Each spell is another trigger (Dark Ritual, Electro, Assaulting Battery, The Fire Crystal). - Rummage and card flow: Discard-to-draw spells, Treasure makers and impulse draw keep the hand full of triggers. Some also deal damage or have flashback, so the same card can be cast again (Big Score, Grab the Prize, Bolas's Citadel). - Sacrifice and recursion loop: Sacrifice outlets use spare tokens and creatures for cards or mana. Death-return instants bring Wizards back, and each of these is itself a noncreature spell that sets off the pingers (Village Rites, Infernal Plunge, Supernatural Stamina). - Cheap interaction and finishers: Low-cost removal and burn clear threats while adding to the spell count. Storm and sweeper effects close out games (Lightning Bolt, Grapeshot, Villainous Wrath).
