That doubles to four with Corpsejack Menace. The deck leans into this with a heavy stream of symmetrical edicts and -X/-X sweepers that grind down every board while Ygra survives and balloons. Because all those creatures are also artifacts, artifact hate and artifact-count cards become creature removal, card draw and extra growth. How it wins: Ygra, grown huge from every creature death, is given trample or made unblockable and swings for lethal commander damage, while the edicts and sweepers have already stripped opponents of blockers. Each sacrificed creature is a Food that feeds Ygra, and Ygra's 6/6-plus body keeps it ahead of the attrition. (Rampage of the Clans, Fade from History, Casualties of War) - Artifact-count payoffs: Opponents' creature boards count as artifacts, which fuels big token makers, a huge Juggernaut, draw-and-drain effects and improvise. Artifact deaths also grow a second counter-hungry threat and trigger lifegain.
