Rootha, Mastering the Moment rewards casting instants and sorceries by creating large flying, hasty Elemental tokens whose power scales with the mana value of spells cast that turn, so the deck aims to cast expensive spells to generate enormous threats and win through combat damage. The deck amplifies this engine through token multiplication effects like Rionya, Fire Dancer and Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer, which can flood the board by copying or converting tokens into massive Elementals. Treasure generation, cost-reduction creatures, and spells that return instants and sorceries from the graveyard keep the mana flowing and the spell-casting chain alive, while triggered abilities that deal damage to opponents whenever instants and sorceries are cast provide a secondary pressure axis.
