Zaxara, the Exemplary serves as both a mana engine and a token factory, generating massive Hydra tokens every time you cast a spell with X in its mana cost while also tapping for two mana to help fuel those same spells. The deck accelerates into enormous X spells — board wipes, card draw, and game-ending threats like Torment of Hailfire and Villainous Wealth — while doubling down on +1/+1 counter synergies through effects that multiply counters placed on creatures and reward having large or counters-laden creatures. The primary win condition is generating infinite mana through Zaxara paired with Freed from the Real or Pemmin's Aura, then funneling that mana into a single devastating X spell that ends the game outright.
