Kumena, Tyrant of Orazca leads a tribal Merfolk swarm deck that floods the board with cheap, evasive Merfolk to fuel Kumena's three tap abilities — making him unblockable, drawing cards, and distributing +1/+1 counters across the entire team. The deck accelerates this engine through lords and cost-reducers that make Merfolk cheaper and more powerful, while counter magic and interaction protect the board and disrupt opponents. Winning typically comes through an overwhelming army of buffed, largely unblockable Merfolk backed by continuous card advantage from Kumena himself. Secondary strategy is combo using kioras follower and Deeproot pilgrimage and clones. Clones can also serve as additional lords or copying opponents biggest threats. The deck wants to lean towards aggro but be able to lean into a mid rage strategy if needed.
