Blech, Loafing Pest turns life gain into a creature-scaling engine by placing +1/+1 counters on all Pests, Bats, Insects, Snakes, and Spiders whenever you gain life, and the deck floods the board with exactly these creature types through token generation, landfall triggers, and recursive creatures to maximize that effect. Counter-doubling effects from Hardened Scales and Winding Constrictor compound each life gain trigger, rapidly growing a wide board into an overwhelming combat force with trample granted to modified creatures. The deck wins through combat with a massive, pumped-up swarm, backed by life drain effects that punish opponents whenever creatures die and a self-sustaining loop of token generation, sacrifice outlets, and life gain that keeps the engine running every turn.
