Hei Bai, Forest Guardian tutors Shrine enchantments directly onto the battlefield, rapidly assembling a critical mass of legendary enchantments from both the Honden and Sanctum cycles. Each Shrine generates incremental advantages every upkeep — drawing cards, dealing damage, draining life, creating tokens, and gaining life — while Sanctum of All causes the deck to trigger all of these effects simultaneously and search out additional Shrines, with cards like Weaver of Harmony and Yarok, the Desecrated further multiplying the number of triggers the deck generates each upkeep. The deck leans heavily into blinking Hei Bai to repeatedly tutor Shrines into play, using enchantress draw engines and Sisay, Weatherlight Captain to keep the board loaded, eventually overwhelming opponents through the avalanche of per-upkeep effects and a growing army of Spirit tokens produced by Hei Bai's activated ability.
