Lynde turns Curses into a repeatable card engine. Curses put into the graveyard come back attached to Lynde at the next end step, and each upkeep one can be passed onto an opponent for two cards. The deck stacks punishing Curses on opponents, sacrifices or destroys enchantments to recycle them through Lynde, and multiplies upkeep steps so that both Lynde's draw trigger and the Curses' upkeep drains fire again and again. How it wins: Opponents bleed out under a growing pile of upkeep-triggered life loss and damage, amplified by extra upkeeps, doubled damage and enchantment death pings, while Lynde keeps the cards flowing. Key roles: - Curse suite: Curses that drain, damage, strip permanents or steal resources each upkeep, scaling with how many Curses an opponent carries and with doubled damage (Curse of Thirst, Torment of Scarabs, Curse of Bloodletting). - Curse tutoring and deployment: Effects that fetch Curses straight onto opponents, flip into Curses on death, or cheat enchantments out for life, so the board fills quickly (Curse of Misfortunes, Bitterheart Witch, Demon of Fate's Design). - Enchantment recycling: Sacrifice outlets eat Curses so Lynde returns them, and every trip to the graveyard draws cards or drains each opponent (Wicked Visitor, Ashiok's Reaper, Slaughter-Priest of Mogis). - Extra upkeeps: Additional upkeep or beginning phases repeat Lynde's attach-and-draw trigger and every upkeep Curse, turning one turn into many (Paradox Haze, Obeka, Splitter of Seconds, Sphinx of the Second Sun). - Copy effects: Enchantment clones duplicate the best Curse or engine piece, and a constellation shapeshifter turns each enchantment drop into a creature copy (Copy Enchantment, Mirrormade, Protean Thaumaturge). - Attack-trigger Curses and defense: Curses reward any player attacking the cursed opponent with cards, mana or tempo, while deterrents keep attackers away from Lynde (Curse of Verbosity, Curse of Opulence, Propaganda).
