Jin Sakai pilots an infect and poison counter strategy, using his ability to send creatures into unblocked or double-striking solo attacks to steadily accumulate poison on opponents and draw cards in the process. The deck equips creatures with infect through auras and equipment like Glistening Oil and Blightsteel Colossus, while proliferate effects on creatures, planeswalkers, and permanents rapidly scale poison counters toward the ten needed for a kill. A suite of counterspells, targeted removal, and board wipes protects the strategy and clears the way for lethal infect attacks.
