Horobi turns every targeted effect into a kill spell: whenever any creature becomes the target of a spell or ability, it is destroyed. The deck stacks cheap, repeatable targeting artifacts and incidental targeted triggers, so mana rocks, color-changers and harmless pump effects become machine-gun removal for any creature on the board. The steady stream of deaths feeds an aristocrats-style package that pings opponents, draws cards, makes mana and steals the dead. Underneath sits a group-draw punisher subtheme that turns heavy card draw into lethal damage. How it wins: It grinds the board clean while death triggers and draw punishers drain opponents, then finishes with Peer into the Abyss on an opponent alongside a draw punisher, or with large evasive threats and stolen creatures. Key roles: - Targeting machine guns: Repeatable tap or cheap activated abilities that target a creature, which with Horobi out destroy it at will, turning junk artifacts and utility lands into instant-speed board control. (Liquimetal Torque, Distorting Lens, Sacred Armory) - Incidental targeted triggers: Creatures and spells whose enter, attack or cast triggers target creatures, so each one becomes a kill or a multi-kill under Horobi, along with small chip-removal for when Horobi is absent. (Orc Sureshot, Nefashu, Tetzimoc, Primal Death) - Death payoffs: Every creature that dies drains opponents, draws cards, adds black mana or grows threats, rewarding the constant destruction. (Syr Konrad, the Grim, Black Market, Harvester of Souls) - Theft and reanimation: Opposing creatures that die come back under the deck's control, or get pulled from graveyards and copied, converting removal into card advantage. (Grave Betrayal, Sepulchral Primordial, Mimic Vat) - Draw punishment: Effects that damage opponents for each card drawn, paired with symmetrical or targeted draw that can be pointed at opponents. (Underworld Dreams, Seizan, Perverter of Truth, Fate Unraveler) - Peer finisher: Forcing an opponent to draw half their library while a draw punisher is out kills them outright. (Peer into the Abyss, Orcish Bowmasters, Ob Nixilis, the Hate-Twisted)
