Kefka, Court Mage fuels a wheel and discard engine, repeatedly forcing opponents to discard while generating massive card advantage by drawing based on the variety of card types discarded. The deck rewards this discard loop with payoffs like Waste Not generating resources and Sheoldred, the Apocalypse punishing opponents for drawing, while Kefka's transformed back face, Kefka, Ruler of Ruin, converts all the life loss from repeated damage and drain effects into an overwhelming card draw engine. Once the deck has ground opponents down through resource denial and attrition, reanimation spells that return large numbers of creatures from all graveyards serve as the primary closing mechanism.
