Lorthos, the Tidemaker Commander Deck
Lorthos, the Tidemaker leads a tap-and-lock strategy centered on repeatedly attacking and paying eight mana to tap up to eight permanents and prevent them from untapping, effectively paralyzing opponents while a fleet of sea creatures applies pressure. The deck supports this gameplan with additional mass-tap effects, permanent-locking enchantments, and Stormtide Leviathan, which restricts most enemy creatures from attacking while making all lands into Islands. Countermagic, bounce spells, and card draw keep the board clear and resources flowing until Lorthos can lock opponents out of the game entirely.
