Inalla, Archmage Ritualist Commander Precon

Commander 2017100 cards

A Grixis Wizard tribal deck built around Inalla's eminence: every nontoken Wizard that enters can be copied for {1} as a hasty token that is exiled at the next end step. That doubles enter-the-battlefield value from card draw, spell recursion and theft creatures, and doubles death value from creatures whose triggers fire when the token leaves or dies. It also supplies extra untapped bodies for tap-a-Wizard engines. A large Wizard count fuels Inalla's five-Wizard drain, with reanimation and recursion keeping the tribe flowing and sweepers resetting boards the deck can rebuild from. How it wins: Assemble five untapped Wizards, hasty Inalla tokens included, to drain 7 life per activation, backed by Vindictive Lich death drains, Vela leave-the-battlefield pings, Niv-Mizzet draw damage and evasive attackers. Key roles: - Token-doubled enter triggers: Inalla's hasty copies repeat Wizard enter effects, drawing cards, rebuying instants and sorceries, stealing graveyard creatures, or bouncing tapped attackers twice per cast (Archaeomancer, Izzet Chronarch, Puppeteer Clique). - Death and leave value: the end-step exile or sacrifice of copies and reanimated Wizards turns into life loss, discard, edicts and cards (Vindictive Lich, Vela the Night-Clad, Corpse Augur). - Tap-a-Wizard engines: wide boards of Wizards, including summoning-sick ones made hasty by Inalla, power repeatable draw and bounce alongside the 7-life drain (Azami, Lady of Scrolls, Galecaster Colossus, Arcanis the Omnipotent). - Wizard recursion and reanimation: dead Wizards return to the battlefield or get cast from graveyards, re-triggering eminence each time (Bloodline Necromancer, Havengul Lich, Apprentice Necromancer). - Spell recursion: instants and sorceries are recast from the deck's own and opponents' graveyards for repeated removal and value (Kess, Dissident Mage, Izzet Chemister, Memory Plunder). - Board resets: mass removal wipes opposing boards while the recursion suite rebuilds, and Kindred Dominance can spare Wizards outright (Kindred Dominance, Decree of Pain, Necromantic Selection).
