They land the first counters early so corrupted thresholds switch on, and they keep chipping away afterward. (Plague Stinger, Pestilent Syphoner, Vishgraz, the Doomhive) - Proliferate engine: Creature triggers, landfall, sacrifice effects, artifacts and spells add a counter to every poisoned opponent at once. This turns scattered hits into lethal totals. Ixhel attacking with Norn's Choirmaster in play also proliferates. (Contaminant Grafter, Evolution Sage, Norn's Choirmaster) - Corrupted payoffs: Once opponents sit at three or more poison, a cluster of cards grows stronger. They draw cards, make huge mana, scale creature size or token output, and drain life.
