Dance of the Elements
Ashling, the Limitless Commander Precon
Ashling turns every Elemental in the deck into a cheap double-dip: cast big Elementals from hand for evoke {4}, take the enters-the-battlefield effect, then get a hasty token copy when the original is sacrificed, which repeats the ETB. If the deck pays WUBRG at the next end step, the token stays permanently. The deck is a five-color Elemental pile full of value ETB creatures (Incarnations, Mulldrifter-style evokers, token makers, removal bodies). It is backed by Elemental-only mana, ETB doublers and graveyard recursion, so each sacrificed card keeps producing value and bodies until a wide board of fat Elementals overwhelms the table. How it wins: It builds an overwhelming board of large Elementals and tokens through repeated ETB and token-copy value, then swings with haste, trample, pump and myriad, or drains and pings opponents out with Omnath and Shimmercreep triggers. Key roles: - Evoke-and-copy value engine: Ashling's granted evoke cost, natural evokers and temporary cheat effects all sacrifice nontoken Elementals, so each one enters twice. Each copy repeats its card draw, removal, ramp or token creation, and the copies arrive with haste. (Mulldrifter, Incandescent Soulstoke, Shriekmaw) - ETB amplification: Yarok doubles every enter trigger from the originals and the copies. Elemental-entering triggers turn the stream of bodies into lands, card selection and extra cards. (Yarok, the Desecrated, Risen Reef, Cream of the Crop) - Five-color and Elemental mana: The deck relies on Elemental-restricted mana creatures, WUBRG producers and color fixing. These cast the gold Elementals, pay Ashling's {W}{U}{B}{R}{G} upkeep to keep copied tokens, and power Vivid payoffs. (Jegantha, the Wellspring, Smokebraider, Timeless Lotus) - Graveyard recursion: Sacrificed Elementals in the graveyard become a second hand. They are recast or returned to replay their ETBs and feed Ashling again, while Incarnations can be encored for one hasty copy per opponent. (Horde of Notions, Muldrotha, the Gravetide, Haunting Voyage) - Board flood and tokens: Token makers and big-power bodies go wide. Kindred tutors and card draw scale with the number of Elementals or changelings in play, and Garruk's Uprising and Selvala-style effects convert high power into cards and mana. (Avenger of Zendikar, Omnath, Locus of Rage, Distant Melody) - Finishers and reach: Mass pump with trample, myriad copies and haste close games. Elemental death triggers and Vivid drains add direct damage, so the deck's own sacrifices and sweepers like Blasphemous Act turn into reach. (Jubilation, Mass of Mysteries, Maelstrom Wanderer)
