Divine Convocation
Kasla, the Broken Halo Commander Precon
This is a Jeskai go-wide convoke deck. It floods the board with cheap creatures and token makers, then uses that army to pay for convoke spells. Each convoke cast triggers Kasla, the Broken Halo for scry 2 and a draw, while tapping creatures to convoke also sets off "becomes tapped" payoffs, draw-to-token engines, and enter-the-battlefield pings that turn the card flow and body count into damage. How it wins: The deck builds a wide board, then closes with chip damage from token entries, tap triggers and convoke pings alongside flying swarms and huge convoke threats like Seraph of the Masses, finishing through unblockable small creatures or an anthem emblem. Key roles: - Token generation: Mass token spells and repeatable token makers supply the bodies that convoke taps, so expensive spells cost little or nothing and the board stays wide (Secure the Wastes, Wildfire Awakener, Elspeth, Sun's Champion). - Convoke payload: Convoke removal, interaction, card draw and big threats both spend the army and trigger Kasla, the Broken Halo, with effects that grant convoke to other spells adding extra triggers (Conclave Tribunal, Meeting of Minds, Flockchaser Phantom). - Tap-trigger synergy: Creatures that do something when tapped turn convoke payments into tokens, cards, damage or temporary exile, and convoke casts untap Saint Traft so it can tap again in the same turn (Saint Traft and Rem Karolus, Goblin Medics, Fallowsage). - Draw-to-board engine: The extra draws from Kasla, the Broken Halo and noncreature spells feed cards that create tokens or grow whenever a card is drawn, producing more convoke fuel (The Locust God, Nadir Kraken, Whirlwind of Thought). - Incremental burn: Damage from creatures entering, convoke casts and tapped Elemental tokens drains opponents over a long game without needing combat (Impact Tremors, Joyful Stormsculptor, Wildfire Awakener). - Evasive closers: Fliers, populate, scaling convoke bodies and unblockability for small tokens turn the wide board into lethal attacks (Seraph of the Masses, Tetsuko Umezawa, Fugitive, Nesting Dovehawk).
