The Ur-Dragon Commander Deck

The Ur-Dragon leads a five-color Dragon tribal deck that leverages cost reduction from the commander's eminence ability, dedicated cost-reduction creatures, and mana acceleration to flood the battlefield with Dragons as quickly as possible. Once Dragons are attacking, The Ur-Dragon generates massive card advantage and cheats permanents directly onto the battlefield, while enter-the-battlefield and attack triggers from cards like Scourge of Valkas and Utvara Hellkite pile on damage and create additional Dragon tokens to snowball the board. The deck wins through overwhelming combat damage amplified by anthem effects, double strike, extra combat phases, and a suite of Dragon keywords that make blocking increasingly impossible for opponents.
