Nahiri, the Lithomancer Commander Precon
This mono-white deck goes wide and then makes the board lethal. Token makers and cheap creatures flood the battlefield, and Nahiri, the Lithomancer adds a Kor Soldier every turn, hands it a piece of Equipment, and can cheat Equipment out of the hand or graveyard. Anthems, double strike and mass +1/+1 counters turn the swarm into a lethal attack, while one-sided sweepers and combat tricks punish opponents who try to race. How it wins: It builds a wide board of tokens and suited-up creatures, then pumps it with anthems, double strike or Jazal Goldmane's mass pump for one overwhelming alpha strike, with Nahiri's Stoneforged Blade as a late-game finisher. Key roles: - Token swarm: Instants, sorceries and enchantments that make creatures in bulk, several scaling with the number of creatures already on the battlefield, to build a wide army fast (Deploy to the Front, Nomads' Assembly, Spectral Procession). - Equipment toolbox: Nahiri, the Lithomancer suits up her own tokens and puts Equipment onto the battlefield for free, cheating out expensive pieces that remove a permanent or make an Angel on each attack, while copy effects double up the best one (Argentum Armor, Moonsilver Spear, Masterwork of Ingenuity). - Mass pump and double strike: Effects that scale the whole team or grant double strike, turning lots of 1/1s into lethal damage (True Conviction, Cathars' Crusade, Jazal Goldmane). - Card flow from small bodies: Cheap creatures and tokens fuel draw engines, both from small creatures entering and from equipped tokens dying (Skullclamp, Mentor of the Meek, Mask of Memory). - One-sided board control: Wraths and combat punishers that clear opposing boards or attackers while the deck rebuilds quickly with tokens or holds back while untapped (Martial Coup, Sunblast Angel, Angel of the Dire Hour). - Death value and recursion: Creatures that profit when allies die or bring cheap permanents and creatures back, keeping the army and its Equipment going through removal (Sun Titan, Requiem Angel, Adarkar Valkyrie).
