Caesar, Legion's Emperor drives an aggressive token swarm strategy, sacrificing creatures each combat to simultaneously flood the board with more Soldier tokens, draw cards, and deal direct damage to opponents. The deck rapidly scales token quantity through mass token producers, squad creatures, and enchantments that generate soldiers every upkeep, then leverages that wide board via Caesar's damage mode to pressure or eliminate opponents. Assemble the Legion provides a growing passive token engine, while death triggers drain opponents for each creature lost, convoke spells turn the token army into mana for board wipes that preserve tokens, and anthem effects like Intangible Virtue ensure the ever-expanding swarm closes games through combat.
