Obuun himself turns a land into a trampling, hasted creature each combat with power equal to his own, and his landfall ability steadily accumulates +1/+1 counters across the board, with Waker of the Wilds and Embodiment of Insight providing additional land animation to build a formidable army of land creatures. The deck wins through overwhelming combat damage using a mix of massive animated lands, token swarms bolstered by counter synergies, and late-game haymakers like Omnath, Locus of Rage generating 5/5 Elementals and threatening opponents with death-trigger damage.
