Osgir, the Reconstructor Commander Precon
Osgir, the Reconstructor runs an artifact recursion deck. Artifacts get sacrificed, discarded or blown up on purpose, then come back from the graveyard, and Osgir exiles them to create two token copies at a time, so big artifact creatures and value artifacts return doubled. Sacrifice outlets, looting and board wipes stock the graveyard. Mass reanimation, copy effects and ability-copying then turn those cards into a wide artifact army that hits hard. How it wins: It overwhelms opponents with doubled large artifact creatures and pumped attackers, closing with Alibou damage triggers, Bosh flings, Myr Battlesphere and Hellkite Tyrant's artifact-count win. Key roles: - Graveyard stocking: Self-sacrifice outlets, discard effects and looting put high-value artifacts into the graveyard, and Osgir's own sacrifice ability does the same, ready for Osgir to exile and copy. (Daretti, Scrap Savant, Faithless Looting, Quicksmith Genius) - Artifact recursion: Several cards return artifacts from the graveyard to hand or battlefield, either one at a time or all at once, so sacrificed pieces keep coming back. (Wake the Past, Scrap Trawler, Sanctum Gargoyle) - Copy and doubling: Copy effects add to Osgir's token-making. Ability copying lets Osgir's activation or other activated abilities run twice, and creature-card copies reuse dead threats. (Battlemage's Bracers, Sculpting Steel, Feldon of the Third Path) - Value artifact fodder: Mana rocks and cantrip artifacts draw cards or fetch lands when they enter or die. They are cheap sacrifice and copy targets that keep the engine fed. (Ichor Wellspring, Mycosynth Wellspring, Solemn Simulacrum) - Wide artifact payoffs: These cards scale with the number of artifacts in play, grant haste to the fresh copies, or deal direct damage, turning the board into lethal pressure. (Alibou, Ancient Witness, Bronze Guardian, Bosh, Iron Golem) - Reset and control: Board wipes and spot removal clear opposing boards while the deck's own dead artifacts become future recursion fuel. Some threats pull double duty by stealing or destroying artifacts. (Cleansing Nova, Hellkite Tyrant, Meteor Golem)
