The deck rewards this card-sharing engine through payoffs like Psychosis Crawler dealing life loss for each card drawn, Simic Ascendancy winning the game by stacking growth counters from the constant flow of +1/+1 counters, and Twenty-Toed Toad winning outright once twenty counters accumulate or you hold twenty cards. Defensive tools like goad effects, attack deterrents, and combat prevention buy time while the deck grows its board into an overwhelming threat through Kalonian Hydra doubling counters and the commander's own flying-granting trigger turning any creature into an aerial beater.
