Ranar the Ever-Watchful Commander Precon

Kaldheim Commander100 cards

Ranar turns every exile into value: cards leaving the hand through foretell, Windfall-style hand exile, and permanents exiled from the battlefield by flicker, blink and exile-based removal each create a 1/1 flying Spirit, and the first foretell each turn is free. The deck pairs a foretell package with a large suite of enter-the-battlefield creatures and repeatable blink effects, so each flicker both re-buys an ETB trigger and makes a Spirit. That builds a wide flying army while drawing cards and answering threats. How it wins: It swarms the board with flying tokens and evasive creatures, then pumps them with flyer lords, anthems and team-wide boosts to finish opponents through the air. Key roles: - Foretell engine: Ranar makes the first foretell each turn free, and each foretell exiles a card from hand for a Spirit. Payoffs reward casting those cards from exile later, with cost reduction, card draw and extra foretell fuel (Ethereal Valkyrie, Vega, the Watcher, Sage of the Beyond). - Blink and flicker: Instants, repeatable flicker creatures and combat-triggered exile turn ETB creatures into repeated value. Every flicker also counts as Ranar exiling a permanent and makes a Spirit (Soulherder, Ghostly Flicker, Brago, King Eternal). - ETB value creatures: Creatures that draw cards, ramp, remove threats or make tokens when they enter, built to be reused by the flicker suite (Cloudblazer, Mulldrifter, Whirler Rogue). - Exile-based interaction: Removal and resets that exile rather than destroy, so answering opponents or mass-flickering the deck's own board also generates Spirits and grows exile payoffs (Banishing Light, Synthetic Destiny, Day of the Dragons). - Flying token swarm: Ranar's Spirits are joined by cards that create many fliers or soldiers at once, building a wide board quickly (Migratory Route, Geist-Honored Monk, Storm Herd). - Air force anthems: Lords for fliers, enter-triggered team pumps, a growing exile-counter threat and a mass pump turn the wide flying board into lethal damage (Empyrean Eagle, Goldnight Commander, Hero of Bretagard).
