Revival Trance (FINAL FANTASY VI)

Terra, Herald of Hope Commander Precon

Final Fantasy Commander100 cards

Terra fills the graveyard every combat with her Trance mill and takes to the air. Each connection lets her pay 2 to pull back a cheap creature, so the deck is a Mardu reanimation shell built around a Final Fantasy legends package. Self-mill, discard-and-draw effects and loot effects stock the yard. A heavy layer of recursion then returns creatures and big threats from it. Payoffs reward cards entering from or leaving the graveyard with counters, damage and extra value. How it wins: Repeated reanimation builds an overwhelming board of evasive and double-striking threats, finished off by graveyard-leave and enter-from-graveyard damage triggers, burn to each opponent, and huge mass-reanimation turns. Key roles: - Graveyard filling: Mill, discard-and-draw and wheel effects stock the yard with creatures for Terra and the recursion suite, while also enabling threshold and graveyard-count cards (Stitcher's Supplier, Siegfried, Famed Swordsman, Mog, Moogle Warrior). - Reanimation engine: Repeatable and one-shot effects return creatures, often the many power-3-or-less and mana-value-3-or-less bodies the deck favours, alongside Terra's combat trigger (Sun Titan, General Leo Cristophe, Priest of Fell Rites). - Graveyard-movement payoffs: Creatures leaving or entering from the graveyard grow the team, trigger direct damage or count toward cost reduction, so each reanimation doubles as an attack (Celes, Rune Knight, Flayer of the Hatebound, Gau, Feral Youth). - Mass reanimation and theft: Big sorceries and creatures pull back many creatures at once, including from opponents' graveyards, to create game-ending swings (Rise of the Dark Realms, Rejoin the Fight, Sepulchral Primordial). - Self-recurring legends: Several threats return or recast themselves from the graveyard and attack alongside the legendary crew, making attrition and sacrifice nearly free (Interceptor, Shadow's Hound, Sabin, Master Monk, The Falcon, Airship Restored). - Sacrifice value and board control: Death triggers produce cards and Treasure, and sweepers and edicts clear the way while the deck rebuilds from its yard (Pitiless Plunderer, Shadow, Mysterious Assassin, Ruinous Ultimatum).
