Mizzix of the Izmagnus sits at the center of this deck, accumulating experience counters by casting high-mana-value instants and sorceries to progressively reduce their costs, eventually allowing the deck to cast or overload massive spells for little to no mana. The deck generates advantages through card draw engines, mass wheel effects, and X-spells that scale with the cost reductions, with Mizzix's Mastery serving as a late-game explosive finisher that can replay an entire graveyard's worth of spells in one turn. Winning typically comes through a combination of direct damage from X-spells like Comet Storm, draining opponents via Psychosis Crawler whenever cards are drawn, or simply overwhelming the table with stolen permanents and board-clearing sorceries once Mizzix has reduced their costs to nearly nothing.
