Killian, Decisive Mentor runs an Auras-and-enchantments politics deck. Every enchantment that enters taps and goads an opposing creature. Goad Auras, Contracts and lockdown pieces then turn opponents' creatures against each other while keeping them off Killian's controller. The deck draws cards whenever its own enchanted creatures, or Aura-goaded opposing creatures, attack, and it backs this with cast-an-Aura draw engines, cost reducers and constellation token makers. That card flow fuels both chaos at the table and a closing threat. How it wins: Opponents grind each other down through forced attacks and attack-triggered life drain, while Aura drain from Eriette and suited-up voltron or token attackers finish weakened players. Key roles: - Goad and forced attacks: Aura-based goad on opposing creatures makes them attack other players. Killian, Decisive Mentor draws a card whenever these Aura-enchanted creatures attack, and the Auras add card draw, drain or team pumps on top (Coercive Impetus, Parasitic Impetus, Scriv, the Obligator). - Rewards for others fighting: Cards that draw, grow creatures or make Inklings whenever players attack each other, and that punish attacks aimed at this player, turn the forced combat into card advantage and board presence (Breena, the Demagogue, Combat Calligrapher, Tomik, Wielder of Law). - Pillowfort deterrents: Attack taxes and restrictions mean enchanted and countered creatures can't come back at this player, so goaded threats are pushed elsewhere (Eriette of the Charmed Apple, Ghostly Prison, Nils, Discipline Enforcer). - Aura card-advantage engine: Cast triggers, cost reduction and Aura tutoring from the top of the library keep enchantments flowing. Each one also triggers Killian's goad (Sram, Senior Edificer, Kor Spiritdancer, Armored Skyhunter). - Constellation payoffs: Each enchantment entering also creates tokens, shrinks opposing creatures or carries Auras onto fresh bodies (Archon of Sun's Grace, Ajani's Chosen, Doomwake Giant). - Voltron finishers and recursion: Big Auras turn a single attacker or token into a lethal threat. Self-returning Auras and mass enchantment recursion rebuild after removal, and a wipe of unenchanted creatures spares the deck's own Aura-carriers (Eldrazi Conscription, Angelic Destiny, Winds of Rath).
