Hazel of the Rootbloom Commander Deck
Hazel of the Rootbloom engines a token flood by doubling tokens each end step, with Squirrel tokens doubling twice over, then taps those tokens through her ability to generate massive amounts of mana to fuel large spells and abilities. Chatterfang, Squirrel General amplifies every token creation event by adding Squirrels on top, and Chatterstorm can storm off to produce a sudden swarm, while Maskwood Nexus ensures all creatures qualify as Squirrels to maximize tribal bonuses and buffs from cards like Chitterspitter and Squirrel Sovereign. The deck wins through overwhelming combat damage backed by anthem effects and trample enablers, or drains opponents out through life-loss triggers attached to token deaths and sacrifices, with Academy Manufactor converting incidental tokens into Clue, Food, and Treasure chains that fuel even more card draw and life gain.
