Abaddon the Despoiler Commander Deck
Abaddon the Despoiler rewards aggressive play by granting cascade to spells cast from hand based on how much life opponents have lost that turn, so the deck focuses on dealing early damage through creatures, burn spells, and end-step life drain effects to unlock cascade on progressively more expensive spells as the game goes on. The deck then chains cascades off each other using naturally cascading spells, activated abilities that grant cascade to upcoming spells, and instant or sorcery payoffs that deal additional damage whenever spells are cast, accelerating both the life loss threshold and the cascade chain simultaneously. Once Abaddon is online and opponents have lost significant life, the deck can close out games by cascading into high-impact board wipes, mass damage spells like Blood for the Blood God!, or demons that generate tokens and compound end-step damage, burying opponents under an avalanche of free spells.
