Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver fuels a self-sustaining zombie token engine by converting dying non-decayed zombies into decayed tokens, which are then sacrificed at end of step to draw cards, generating massive card advantage while maintaining a constant board presence. The deck amplifies this loop through anthem effects, token doublers like Endless Ranks of the Dead, and death triggers that drain opponents or force sacrifices, while Rooftop Storm enables casting the entire zombie tribe for free to flood the board at will. The deck wins by overwhelming opponents with a swarm of buffed, evasive zombie tokens supported by lords and flying grants, or by grinding them out through incremental life loss from death triggers and forced sacrifice effects.
